Long weekend Witnesham nr Ipswich

Any one know of a decent Gastro Pub type eatery near by? We will have a pooch with us so must be dog friendly. The local (Barley Mow) sounds like a good local with pub grub so no doubt will be used, just wondering if anything more upmarket without driving too far.

My sister works in the Queens Head Inn in Brandeston - always says how good it is, busy etc

(no, I've never been!!)

On the flip side, my father really dislikes the Bell in Cretingham.

The Queens head has some good reviews, worth a go.
