OK - who's tried this ?
Read in the paper it's the new eco way of cooking (steaming)
stuff like fish and veg using a sealed container for obvious
reasons !

I've done a whole salmon in mine. Double wrapped in foil, no detergent, normal wash. Works well. It's very impressive if you've got guests who haven't heard of that before.

I wouldn't call it an 'eco' method of steaming things though. That word is just applied to anything by morons. It would use far less power to use a steamer on the hob, or the microwave.

Agreed. However, as I read it you cook and clean at the same time obviously making sure that what you are cooking is fully sealed from the dirty dishes and detergent.
I'm going to experiment with boiled eggs over the weekend !

Just throw some stock cubes in..
No need to seal anything..
Fish,spuds,couscous the choices are endless.. smile

Yeah.. Just bung um in!!
I normally use a tub of Thai curry paste..
