Grappa is horrid stuff!!

Not sure which high st retailers sell it (perhaps a Waitrose?), but you may have just as much luck going into your local good Italian restaurant and purchasing one from them.

Bit of a trip, but Lewis and Coopers in Northallerton sell it.

I think they mail order.

http://www.carluccios.com/shop-online/item/grappa-...

Bound to be a Carluccio's close to you than L&C - even if it's just the one in Stratford upon Avon.

Sainsburys do some ok-ish stuff.

Spoilt in Italy with decent stuff (aged Grappa is really good).

cheers all! my mate says the sainsburys stuff is ok, £15ish a bottle or a indi wine shop locally that sells it.

May try Waitrose and Carluccios
