Your fave snacks with a drink

Cant get enough of these, so nice with a beer these smokey almonds! What do you like snacking on with a drink? My local pub does pork scratchings in a clear bag (cant remember the brand) proper hairy teeth cracking scratchings nom.

I know the scratchings you are talking about, can't remember the name either but very nice. Personally I really like cheese Doritos (spelling?) with a beer. Or olives. With red wine I like chocolate.

Its the inconsistency with a decent pack of scratchings, you dont really get with other snacks. One scratching will be soft and a bit st, one will be rock hard and then you get one that is perfect! ha love em.

Biltong with red wine or beer.

Fish biltong, pork biltong, or deep-fried crispy salmon skin with white wine or cider. I discovered these delights on trips to visit family in Estonia, and while they've yet to make the hop to the UK, I hope it won't be long.

I've seen these at Asda.

However they were on a random shelf hanger (possibly in the vodka section) rather than in with the crisps.
