I've asked similar before but this time I am after a romantic restaurant in Manchester or the surrounding area. Really looking to push the boat out and make it a night to remember so the emphasis is definitely on romance smile

Thanks

It's not a recommendation, as it's only just opened and I've never been. But this place :

http://www.manchesterhouse.uk.com/

are very aggressively going for a Michelin Star, so if you're wanting to push the boat out, this could be worth a look.

Our favourite restaurant remains San Carlo, but it's not romantic. For romance we've tended to go to Lounge 10.

Have you thought of Aumbrey? Not been myself but friends (and reviews) say it is very good and it is small and intimate.

This!

On my next to visit list (Aiden Byrne is the chef) great reviews so far
The French (Midland) has been refurbished with new chefs (also heading for a star) I've not been since it was done up

My favourites are Chichetti & Australasia

Been to Aumbry couple of times & didn't think that good just Heston inspired and out of the city centre
