None of the above actually!

I have warmed to Tom Kerridge for several reasons: he seems like a good, down to earth bloke, doesn't appear to 'court or utilise' celebrity status to his personal advantage - and lastly, he is a fat lad.

I have always thought that, when it comes to chefs - never trust a skinny one! biggrin

Never been ... although I did spend some time in High Wycombe way back ... is it value for money ? ... not sure about the 12.5% mandatory service charge ...

I still retch at the very concept of celebrity chefs. They shouldn't exist.

Except nigella.

Those two greedy Italians. And Floyd of course. Could watch their stuff all day. Risk Stein makes some good stuff too.

Tom Kerridge was my initial thought too.

I've met him.

Nice fella.

And goes to show that you don't need all the faux melodrama that Ramsey, amongst others, bring to a kitchen, to be successful.

Read MPW's autobiography the other week. Jeez but he's got problems. I only kept reading out of some sort of unhelpful stubbornness; I paid for it after all! It's a miserable read, full of self-justification for various unforgiveably bad behaviour, and mostly left me feeling quite sorry for the bloke.

Keith Floyd by a country mile , although I do have some time for Rick Stein.

You don't see much of him now but I like Garry Rhodes no shouting no drama just what seams to be a pleasant man and fancy food.

Hugh, as he's all about the quality of the ingredients and what's in season. Plus he has the right atitude towards animal welfare and fishing.

Tom Kerridge came across well the other night.
Jamie Oliver for the easy recipes.
Nigel Slater for actually watching a chef cooking on tv for 30mins.
