Showing my stupidity here but if I made something in the slow cooker and then chucked it some if it in a Tupperware container to give to a relative to eat the next night what would be the best way for them to reheat it? The same goes for chilli and spag bol kind of meals?

Awaiting the inevitable "Jesus Christ" wink

BBQ - put the whole thing straight on, indirect heat for 2 hours, then smoke for an hour.

Jesus Christ.....

Microwave until piping hot as per the usual instructions.
Or re-heat in a saucepan on the hob.
Or in the oven.

I made a spag bol for the kids a day early, reheated it on the day on the hob and then again a couple of days later in the microwave for myself..

I am now a zombie though.

Why is the initial preparation method relevant in the slightest?

Haha I knew it was a stupid qustion.

The initial method of cooking was just in case there was a better way to reheat in order to keep flavours etc.

Microwave 9/10 would be best in this sort of situation. Cover it with clingfilm esp if it's a bit saucy... oooh errr.
