Chosen Bun (Burger Delivery)

If anyone lives in West London, I can highly recommend this place. Wouldn't normally start a thread, but Chosen Bun has really nailed delivering gourmet burgers so they're not a soggy mess upon arrival. Great burgers, great sides (esp. the mac+cheese bites), and they even called up after to ask if everything was okay. I was initially very skeptical as burger delivery just doesn't sound like it would work, but it really does.

One criticism is that it could have been a tad hotter, but not a dealbreaker as it was all still delicious. http://www.chosenbun.com/

I've given these guys 2 chances and it was overdone on both occasions- a disappointingly grey patty. The sides and shakes are good, but it's a long way from cheap. With Byron in Chelsea, Fulham and Putney, as well as plenty of non-chain quality burgers, I don't think they're doing enough.
The packaging is impressive though.

If this is the burger thread, get to Brighton and try a burger brothers burger. They don't deliver, but they do make great burgers. Want one now after two weeks of seafood in Portugal.

That surprises me, mine was perfectly pink. That happening to you twice suggests it's more than just being unlucky. Yeah it is expensive, but I don't think value-wise it's particularly bad.

Ah, health and safety says that your not allowed to have pink burgers now, as the germs from the mincing can get into the middle of the burger and make you ill. whereas a when the meat is in a joint or steak is has the germs on the outside and you kill them by cooking it, it can be still pink.....


dont like pink burgers or steak anyway. so doesnt bother me.

aah, well thats what I was told at the gourmet burger kitchen and as Ed's diner, so im just repeating what I was told.

might be wrong, but sounds about right for todays H&S idiots in this age.
