25 year old homemade wine - safe to drink?
Discussion
I've found numerous bottles of homemade wine in the cellar of the Georgian house i'm living in. Fairly sure whoever made it is long dead.
Each bottle has a hand written laben on with the year e.g. "Robinswood 88"
Do you think it will be safe to drink? There is a bit of sediment in the bottom of the bottles - I'm not sure is a bad thing or not, but the cellar is very cool and I would have thought a good place to store it.
Will i be able to smell/taste if it is ok?
Any wine experts care to comment? I haven't a clue myself
