Bristol restaurant recommendations

Been to the following and looking for other suggestions:

Casamia
Cherry duck
Bells diner
Severn shed
Robin Hood retreat
Riverstation
Pump house
Clifton sausage
Cowshed
Bordeaux quay
Olive shed

Top 3 are clear current favorites, does anybody have any other recommendations???? Prepared to travel as well....

Glass boat is good. I go there quite a bit with the wife for lunch which is always great value for the type and quality of cooking

San Carlos on Corn Street is certainly worth a visit.
Bordeaux quay?

When I lived there for 2 years we sampled many of those. my favourites though were:

Steak at Cote, Clifton.
Mexican at Casa Mexicana, Zetland Road.
Indian at Brunel Raj

Wilks on Chandos Road has just been awarded a Michelin star, I've not been yet though. My local, the Bird in Hand, (in Long Ashton) has also just been awarded a Bib Gourmand. The food there is superb and pretty resonable.

Seconded Excellent food with a very welcoming hostess that was exceedingly patient with first timers - the fact that we were taken there by a Persian who siad it was the best place he'd found outside of London just adds to the recommendation.

I used to work round the corner from wilks. Only weht once, but good. The chef used to cook for heads of state.

Obento on Bristol Bridge, just about the best Japanese place outside Japan. Superb food and staff, can be a bit quiet sometimes which I can never understand.

Juniper gets my vote, it's our favorite restaurant in the area. The seven course tasting menu is an experience and a always lovely.

Indian food I would say Taj brasserie MMm Crab Bhuna.
