The "Things so dirty even YOU won't eat them..." thread got me thinking earlier on. Presentation can be a major factor when deciding how much we enjoy food, but we all seem to have little exceptions to that rule. An example for me would be refried beans - when you open a tin you could be forgiven for thinking that it's dog food:



But they taste fantastic yum So what food do you enjoy that actually looks quite disgusting at first glance?

^^^ Needs some chopped coriander in that smile

Casseroles, curries, or anything slow-cooked mostly wouldn't win any prizes in the looks department.

I splat everything with fresh chopped herbs to compensate smile

Is that Heinz Scotch broth just after its out of the tin?

Haggis must be up there for the worst looking but tastes nice award.
