Anniversary restaurant challenge - suggestions?

My wife and I are fans of michelin starred restaurants and over the last few years have hunted down some top eateries to enjoy celebrating special occasions in.

For our wedding anniversaries we set ourselves a challenge. Take it in turns to book a table at a michelin starred restaurant in a European city that neither of us have been to, for one cracking meal, making it the highlight of a nice weekend away.

The catch is:
1) fly/train/ferry - can't be too difficult to get to as we're only staying for 2 nights (we live in Norwich so can fly from there or from Stansted easily enough)
2) restaurant has to have one or more michelin stars
3) has to be outside the UK

Preferably somewhere with enough to see over two days without getting bored.
Any ideas?

How about Dijon & the Burgundy region - you have one 2* Michelin restaurant in the City, along with a couple of 1*'s. If you're happy to head out into the villages and towns, I think there are a couple of 3*'s that should fit the bill.

You could also combine with a visit to Beaune's wine cellars to sample the local produce

Previously most of our trips have been to the UK so Europe is relatively untouched. Last time out we went to Beluga in Maastricht (it was fabulous).

Not Michelin starred (and not really Europe), but easily as good as the 2 UK Michelin starred restaurants I've eaten in, the tasting menu in Sjávargrillið in Reykjavik was fantastic, we had about 15 species in one meal. Interestingly trip advisor reviews rate 2 other restaurants in Reykjavik as even better.

Loving the idea though. We went to our second ever Michelin starred restaurant on honeymoon so think I may have to start doing the same for our anniversaries.
