Hi all, me and gf is going to older some pizza in hour or so. We all ways go for Pizza Hut but gf is saying we get dominos but I'm not sure for a few reasons, 1 being Pizza Hut looks more nice and other being domino's don't lol. Is there much difference? What do you guy go for? Thanks.

Dominos all the way. Can't go wrong with a Mighty Meaty! Stick some twisted cheese doughballs in the order as well, lovely stuff cloud9 If ordering online, go to the 'deals' section, you can usually get a far better deal than ordering everything separately.

Got a text from Pizza Hut today... £10 off a £25 spend, the code is SM1148 (not sure if it works for every store, or just my local one, but give it a try!)

Neither, I use my local 'Chicago Pizza'. Cheaper, tastier and they deliver (I live too far out for the nearest Pizza Hut and Dominos to deliver, despite them shoving menus through my letterbox every other week). If I had the choice though it would be Pizza Hut. Dominos are far too salty and greasy IMO

I had Pappa Johns for the first time on Friday, it reminded me of proper pizza's from the states, unfortunately it seemed to be loaded with MSG frown

There is a difference between the two. PH is more classic pizza. dominos is a little different but still good. as junky pizzas go dominos is the best.

Myself I prefer pizza gogo or an indie place. I like my pizza made soggy & doughy with extra pizza sauce. You can't really specify that in dominos or PH.

I used to not mind Pizza Express, but I don't generally eat pizza, sort of regard it as children's food...
Other half ordered Dominos tonight as neither of could be ar$ed to cook..... yep, still children's food. ..

I never understood why dominoes became so popular especially with the semolina they dust it with yuk. Pizza Hut not as nice as it used to be. You Kant beat my local pizza house loads of greasy cheese like product dripping off it.

Does anyone actually like "proper" pizza any more?

You know thin base cooked in a wood fire. Parma and rocket. eggs potatoes etc

I really wish you could get one those delivered.

If I had the first clue about running/setting up a pizza takeaway I'd give it a bash my self.

In my mind there are 2 types oid pizza Legit french pizzaria style and takeaway, I discount Itallian as they tend to have really restrictive toppings.

We had a pizza joint open up in our village a couple of years back and they started off with a wood-fired pizza oven doing "proper" pizzas. They ripped it out and now do the standard take away pizza off the conveyor belt... it's not a bad pizza, but not quite the same... frown
