PH Cooking Competition #34 SURPRISE!

Well what an honour and a privilege to set the theme for PH Cooking Competition #34 and possibly the last competition of the year.
Following on from the novelty of my fruity fry up, and with party season fast approaching, the theme for this competition is:
SURPRISE!
This is a chance to impress with something novel, something unusual, something that deceives your diners and surprises and delights them. Whether it's an amazing cake decoration, some intricate sugar work, a dish that isn't what it appears to be, an unusual take on a classic, pull out all the stops and come up with something for party season that has that wow factor. And make sure your photos do your masterpiece justice
THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT ARE AS FOLLOWS.
Only one entry per person, cooked within the competition time frame.
No more than three photos to be entered with a description of your dish which must be prepared and cooked by the entrant.
The competition will run until Sunday 24th November.
The poll will commence on Monday 25th October and voting will last till midnight on Sunday 1st December.
