Wife came home with one this evening, 6 quid apparently, they made it up for her on the fish counter and apparently it was near 9 quid in actual fish!

Seriously impressed, it was bloody big, 35 mins in the oven and it was just gorgeous. No bones, no mess, just bloody lovely, with green beans, griddles asparagus, rice and a Parmesan sauce.

Proper bargain, well be having that again!

Seen the advert for that, it looks a bit... well, "Iceland"...

Parmesan and fish sounds wrong. How do you cook a wedge of fish like that evenly?

It is probably a good way of selling off old stock quickly and cheap.

Morrisons didn't fare too well.

Fried the outside in butter fit a couple of mins for colour, then into the oven for 35 mins.

Was really nicely cooked

What fish were they? I'd have thought the outer layers would be overdone and dry by the time the middle's cooked.

Salmon on the outside, cod and smoked haddock inside.
It' could have had at least another 10 mins without being in danger of drying out, but 35 mins was enough to ensure it was thoroughly cooked through.

For 6 quid try one. It was really beautiful.
