Good Pubs within 10mins of Kings Cross

Hey everyone,

Meeting a mate next Monday in London before I move to France for 5 months. Neither of us are from London so am trying to find a decent pub to catch up at!

We're both coming in at Kings Cross so and getting late trains out from there, so ideally somewhere within 10/15 mins on the underground. Also needs good selection of real ale. Good food, preferably good burgers! We're both early 20s so want somewhere we'll fit in but also somewhere easy to get a seat and stuff.

Quite a lot to ask for but the PH massive never seems to fail!

The Craft Beer Company on Leather Lane has a fine selection of ales but in terms of food if you want something more exotic than a scotch egg you'd have to go elsewhere http://thecraftbeerco.com/pub/clerkenwell-london/

thanks for the all the suggestions so far! Remember we don't mind hopping on a tube for 10 mins or so if there is any pubs that are a must visit within a quick tube then let me know!

The Euston Tap always has a great selection of ales/beers. Always changing whats on tap.
