Anyone use Bordeaux Index?
Discussion
I usually get my "decent" wine from the Wine Society or Berrys. A colleague has put me onto Bordeaux Index as a cheaper and better alternative. Does anyone here use them? They seem to be pretty legit and also have stock at about 10-20% below Berry's prices (not sure if they're cheaper each year for En Primeur offers or not).
Thanks in advance,
Richard

They've been around for a while. Never used them myself, but would certainly consider doing so.
If you want another alternative then Farr Vinters is worth a look (I use them alongside BBR and The Wine Society as they each seem to be good at different things) for both regular and en premieur purchases. In particular, they're quicker off the mark when it comes to EnP than TWS and usually a whisker cheaper than BBR.
You'll find pricing sharper with the likes of Farrs/BI but be aware that they're more towards the specialist/wholesale end of the spectrum (not sure if BI have a minumum order value but Farrs is usually £500).
