Well, I've just had to have a sit down in a dark room.

Usually just do simple crowns but we've got a lot of family round this year. I'm under orders to get an 8kg bird, so I popped round the farm shop. I think after a bit of research 8kg is too big so that weight may be coming down - but I nearly fell off my chair when they told me how much. Seventy five quid!

So... how big is yours, where did you get it (any recommendations?) and how much was it? I'm popping to Aldi at lunchtime to see what they've got.

expensive but could be worth the money......
