First year cooking with an aga.
How best to do the Turkey?
In the simmering oven tonight, well wrapped up, then bacon onto it and into a hot oven to crisp tomorrow?
10lb bird with cranberry stuffing in crop and sausage meat in the cavity.

Bottom oven should cook it pretty much if you give it enough time, give it a probe in the morning and no more than thirty mins in the hot oven.

What an obnoxious post.

If i had an aga and were cooking a turkey in it for the first time I'd probably post here asking if anyone could advise for the sake of avoiding completely fking it up... without expecting to get shot down in flames accused of 'cock waving'.

Glad it worked OP
