Decent, yet not fancy, curry in Brum

Heading up to the Autosport show at the weekend. Will be staying near New St station, so where around that area is good for a decent, ponce-free curry?

Not curry, but there's a very reasonable Morrocan restaurant in Fletchers Walk under Birmingham Conservatoire.

For some unknown reason I don't think I've ever had a curry in the city centre, so can't help.

City centre we used to go to manzils which is just near the bullring on the market side. Complete dump but not bad.
