Isn't it preferable to get a paperback book/car magazine and eat in a pub somewhere? There's plenty of good ones around there... what you going to do, take you kebab back to your room and watch TV?
I've got my Apple TV plugged into the decent sized Samsung LCD and I propose to relax, watch some TV in my pyjamas and then have a bath.
I definitely don't plan to be another muppet in a bar, on my own, with iPad in hand.

Passed by this place and I've just ordered a large mixed kebab and large chips from somewhere that looks terrible.
Both south side of the bridge:
Kebab King used to be at the top of Putney High Street (opposite Weatherspoons), presume it's still there. Don't think I've been there sober but enjoyed many a 2am kebab there a few years back!
Down the bridge end there used to be a good Brazilian restaurant, pay a set price and eat as much as you like. Loads of BBQ meats! Opposite the cinema. Haven't lived in that area for about 5 years so may have changed.
