Milk frother

My son is rather fond of frothy hot chocolate and so I find myself in the market for a milk frother. There seem to be a number of sorts - the aerolatte mini gadget thing which apparently breaks easily. The manual jug ones with an attachment that look a bit like caffetieres and finally the electrical versions that heat and froth and cost a lot of money.
So does anyone own any of these and what do you think?

Works really well and is very very easy to clean.

+1 for this. Takes a few minutes to heat up, but great froth and a doddle to clean.

I had one of the cafetiere looking things and it was great until the mrs dropped it.

Have one of these, still going after what must be 2+ years. It works, but doesn't heat the milk and doesn't mix as well as a proper frother.

Same here - handy for heating milk up for coffee, but throwing milk and choccy powder in it makes a decent hot chocolate.

I have a Whizzy Whisk and they make good foam in a matter of seconds. No batteries required.
