Where I work we have a staff resturant. Apparently Michel Roux Jr will be a guest chef for a day. He is going to cook Poulet roti en cocotte Dijonnaise (pot roasted chicken, creamed potato, grilled leeks and Dijon mustard sauce).

Should make a change. He is also signing copies of his latest book Cooking with the Master Chef.

Was it any good Paul?

I work in Ipswich and hoping they'll do something similar to revive the place, hardly
anyone eats up there now as the food quality nose-dived when Restaurant Associates took over :-(

I went up to the resturant early at 12:15. Probably about 100 people in the queue for his meal, I thought im not queuing that long so joined the other queue to get the book signed, that took 25 minutes.

Queue for food had died down so I joined that queue and with only 10 people in front they ran out of chicken at 12:45. It looked nice and people said it was good.

It was popular so not sure if they will do something similar in the future.

Sounds like you need Gordon Ramsay to do a Kitchen Nightmares episode.
