best recipe for indian mint sauce yogurt and chicken tikka.
Discussion
I use natural yoghurt and milk (75% yoghurt, 25% milk). Then I add mint sauce, the ready made kind you put on lamb (or in my case veg to make it taste of something).
I find that this homemade yoghurt sauce is acceptable with homemade curry & supermarket bhajis etc but not a patch on the Indian stuff.
Do you know or work with any Asian people? They may be able to help. Us English folk are useless at trying to replicate tasty Asian cuisine!!!

Here's my recipe:
300 ml whole milk natural yogurt
1/2 a cucumber, peeled, de-seeded and grated
1 level tsp cumin seeds, toasted in a dry pan until brown and nutty smelling
1 green Indian finger chilli (or more) finely chopped
small handful fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
Mix everything together and add a few pinches of golden caster sugar to taste. Palm sugar or jaggery if you can get it. It's this which gives the colour.
Garnish with fresh chopped coriander if you like.
