Dairylea Slices

I was thinking the other day, they should make these a bit longer as it doesn't cover a proper a piece of bread.

Indeed most people probably double it and use twice as much meaning more sales for them but when suggesting the idea to Dairylea, this was the best reponse ever!

Surely the best response would have been "What a great idea! If you are happy to sign ownership of this idea to us, please sign the enclosed form and return it to us, and we will pay you £1m plus 5% of the sales profits."

I would have thought that the smallest amount of dairylea possible would be best?

I like the sizes the way they are. Open two slices, put one full slice onto sandwich. Break 2nd slice up, use to cover the rest of sandwich, eat a bit myself and split the remainder between the dogs.

It just wouldnt seem right if a full slice fitted perfectly

They are double the size they used to be!

Is there a standard size of loaf that these new bigger slices of Dairylea would be designed tp fit, or does it just need to fit the size of bread *you* buy?.

I don't care that I am 27, but even the petit filou 'big pots' are abit small. They need to be a good 2-3x bigger. I still love that stuff.

As for the cheese slices, they really ought to put some flavours in them. like make peppered cheese, or chilli cheese. The only good thing these 'cheese' slices are good for is putting ontop of a fried egg or sausages, or burger, which is meant to go in a sandwich.
