Zero Calorie Red Bull
Discussion
So I like to think I am a bit of an energy drink fan, I gave sampled pretty much every one you can get...
I spotted this today....

Red Bull with ZERO CALORIES. Must be worth a go, until you flip it over and...

Well it's got 1.8kcal/100ml
And that can is 250ml, so it's got 4.5kcal per can.
So not zero calorie. How does that work?
Also it tastes shyte

Bought this in tesco the other day, mispriced at 25p a can, in packs of four
NiceI picked up 80 cans of Sugarfree Red Bull @ £2 per 8 not long back, local Co-Op had them piled up.
Sugarfree is the best compromise on Red Bull IMO.

I don't consume anything that has artificial sweetner in it. Its not natural & not good for you.

Eat Sugar, Salt & Fat in smaller quantities and you will be fine.

Aspartame is made of two naturally occuring amino acids which your body processes like a protein. Consumed sensibly (like sugar) it wont do you any harm (like sugar) but be less calorific than sugar. http://www.food.gov.uk/policy-advice/additivesbran...

I bought some today and was just thinking the same thing. And that can is 250ml, so it's got 4.5kcal per can.

Apparently, under European regulations a product containing no more than four calories per 100ml can be called ‘zero calorie’.
I still say it's misrepresentative though.
