Stella love affair
Discussion
Does anyone else share my passion for Stella Artois??
I knows it's not the best beer, I know it's probs not something to have with fine dining. I know it's no good for me. I know it send some people mad.
But every sip I take tastes like the lining of the clouds of heaven.
It's ok on tap and better in bottle but...
For me it's got to be in pint cans, served at very cool fridge temp. Just above freezing.
No fine wine of exotic beer can beat it.
I'm in love. Even have a dog named Stella. I'm not remotely chavtastic either, apart from my addiction to Stella.

My favourite beer or lager... So crisp and refreshing ( not in the I need a drink way ) .
I must say that it tastes better out of a can aswell. Only because Stella needs to be ice cold and the draught ones aren't normally. I've never been a fan of bottled lager.. I do like a good bottled beer though ( tag lag )

Ooh, I've found my favorite thread!
Me!
I'm a Stella Artois fiend.
We only have 5.2% available for sale here, but not at all in pubs, so I enjoy ice cold 500ml cans in my Chalice glass at home.
Even my buddies I go to Le Mans with insist I take a slab of 500ml cans for the rest of the 'SAS' - that's the 'Stella Appreciation Society'.

At 5.2% Sublime
At 5.0% Still very good
At 4.8% It tastes like a s

This precisely. After many years of dedication I took one sip of the "new" Stella a year or two ago without knowing they'd dropped the ABV again. Didn't even finish the bottle and haven't touched a drop since. Their loss.At 5.0% Still very good

As a larger drinker Stella tends to be an aggressive beer, shouty and obnoxious.
I love Bud much more sedate and refined. From the tap it's
And I have some now.
Just shows how taste vary, bud is one of the only lagers I can't drink. I really dislike it. I could quite easily become T-total if Bud was the only beer option! I love Bud much more sedate and refined. From the tap it's

Totally agree. I think Bud is the only beer I really don't like. It tastes too smooth for me. I do know plenty of people who love it though.Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
