Disposable BBQ - Caravan Park
Discussion
I know this is a total noob question!, but never used one of these before,
I'm going away to a static caravan next week, Generally are you allowed to take these on with you?
Also I assume its better to lay it on some concrete ground as opposed to grass? or can you lay it on grass too?...
I'll keep water nearby encase of any mishaps
Also seen these bbqs be abit of a nuisance to light in the past..

Take some extra bricks and a wire rack (oven rack will do). One of the problems with the disposable BBQs is they go nuclear for about 10 minutes and then go out and the food is sat half a cm from the heat, so use the bricks to make a raised grill over the top of the BBQ. If you can't take bricks and rack at least shake the charcoal so its all up one end.
Check with the campsite. Some don't allow charcoal BBQs at all, even proper ones with legs.
If they are allowed just buy something like this to raise it off the ground: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Disposable-BBQ-Stand-Sin...
