Steam Oven

Just trying a new AEG Multiklasse steam oven this afternoon
Is it normal with a steam oven to have steam coming out of the top of the door (when closed and cooking)
Seems a bit strange as the kitchen is now in a partial 'fog'

I expect so otherwise it would be a pressure cooker...!

There did seem to be an awful lot though do agree with the consequences if it doesnt let some seep out

I do not know about this particular brand, but the combi ovens we use at work do not exude steam when cooking. I suspect that yours should not either.
