Lamb and red wine curry...HELP

Cooked a spicy curry about a year ago , was really simple: lamb potatoes spring onions, spinach garlic, chillies, then used some curry paste and left the lamb to cook in red wine and then topped up the curry with red wine before served and tasted really good but I cannot for the life of me remember how I done it or how long everything was cooked for nor how much wine to use or what curry paste would compliment it, if possible I wouldn't wanna use curry paste out of a bottle but I think it'd be more time consuming to do it properly? and I am cooking it for the in laws later... Help please! (found nothing on online recipes?)
