Hi,

Has any one got any good cocktail recipes? Had a lovely 'sour' in France last week and tried to recreate it last night without success...

I assume freshly squeezed lemons are the way forward ad you cant seem to buy lemon juice in cartons.

Amaretto Sour is my cocktail of choice.

from memory

2 large shots of Disarono Amaretto
1 fresh egg
1 fresh lemon
dash of augusto bitters
ice

Add Amaretto, whole egg white (only white), juice of 1/2 lemon and dash of the bitters into a cocktail shaker with a couple of ice cubes and shake,

Pour into ice filled tumbler through sieve, add slice of lemon to garnish

I'm very much liking 'In-Seine' from the above, currently:

1 shot Cognac V.S.O.P.
1 shot Maker's Mark bourbon
1 shot Chase Elderflower liqueur
⅛ shot La Fee Parisienne Superieure
½ fresh Egg white
