Like the BBQ grill itself, they'd be 'sterilised' over a high heat before ever threading anything on.

A thorough clean or dishwasher cycle will sort that.

Plus the heat will ensure any nasties are dealt with.

On second glance, they're flame-proof bungee cords, aren't they?

Rather useful for wiring / strapping / skewering anything vaguely BBQ-able.

My wife bought these a few years ago. Personally I find them very hard to get the food off easily without ripping the meat. Not worth the effort in my opinion. Style over functionality.

Designer doesn't appear to know they don't use inches in France...
