Chocolate - to fridge or not to fridge

Bought a 4 pack of Galaxy bars (my fav) last week and i put them in the 'cake tub' in the cupboard.

Go to have one and they are missing. Ask the OH where they are she says 'oh i put them in the fridge'

'Why on earth would you do that' i ask

'because thats where they are supposed to be kept' she replies.

Cut out 10 mins of bickering and we now have half the 4 pack in the fridge and the other half in the cupboard. lol

Where do you prefer your chocolate ?

My choc stays in the fridge apart from if they are Cadbury's Giant Buttons. Those things go straight in the freezer as they don't melt so fast in your mouth and give an interesting crunch too.

Depends on the chocolate. Cadburys Chocolate Fingers, Flake, Dairy Milk, Caramel have to be stored in the fridge. It's the law. Aero, Snickers, Picnic. Time Out stay in the cupboard.

Not that I've got a lot of experience with this or anything.

Cupboard except for the occasional mars...that has to go in the fridge it's much easier to slice into thin strips.

I store all my chocolate...in my mouth.
That came out sounding all sorts of wrong, which is not what I intended.

Chocolate or chocolate with nuts in must be cold to get the right texture. Anything with nugget or caramel in needs to be room temp so the filling is the right consistency.

Like Cadburys Chocolate fingers? Try biting both ends off and sucking tea through them then eating. Mmmmmm.

This is the UK - why would you out chocolate in the fridge?

Btw - tell your girlfriend that if it was meant to be kept in the fridge, that's where she would find it in the shop

Store in a cool dry place. Unless you intend on using it as a weapon against small children.

I won the ketchup argument with the wife that way, she used to keep opened ketchup in the cupboard.

when i had an off licence the reps from the chocolate firms used to supply dispensers which were kept in the chiller fpr their products . plain choc bounty from the fridge , nom nom

When the room temp is warm/hot ie. summer time - fridge
Room temp cold ie. Sping/Autumn/Winter - cupboard.

She was quite right too. Stone cold ketchup on your chips is awful.
