Mate at work has booked a bit of a work night out in October here, menu looks yummy but just wondering if anyone's been? Seems very strange that it's a 2 month wait to get a table booked for a Friday night at a burger place.

Annie's is very nice but a two month wait seems a bit much. They definitely need to update their booking system as it's very unprofessional to email them and have to wait a week before they respond.
When you order remember that they do the basic burger patty very well so you don't necessarily want to put anything too crazy on top.

P.S. avoid parking in the nearby NCP as it is stupidly expensive.

I normally park in the Crowne Plaza but think it'll be too far as I'm a designated driver so was going to park in the Lace Market, see if my colleagues will pay for parking smile.

We went last year when Annie's was at the Navigation pub on the Canal. They said they could only process so many orders at once, so we had to wait 2 hours. Thankfully the burger was gorgeous, probably the nicest I've had (can't remember the name but it had a load of jalepenos on it).

I think the two month wait applies to Friday or Saturday night bookings and has done for a long time now. I've walked in with no booking mid-week and got seated quickly. I don't think lunchtime bookings require a long wait either.

I go about once every couple of months.

A tip for booking is to go in and book for later in the week. Their email account is crazy and always has ~1k emails to read through. So much quicker than waiting for an email.

I'm slowly working my way through the menu, can't quite bring myself to try the Sunday lunch burger yet but a friend swears by it.

I'm not sure if they're doing it to hype the place up, but whenever I go in they make a fuss about there not being any tables, but if we get a drink from the bar they will be able to seat us in 45 minutes, but we usually get seated in about 10. Although once they did say they weren't letting any more people in and that there was already a 2 hour wait for food.

It's a shame, as when you can get in it is really good!

Old nick name that my mates call me because I used to be in the RAF Regiment reserves. When I signed up, my nickname I normally use was taken so came up with this one.

Your irritation by the 'walk in' wait will most probably be offset by the burger. These guys are know a good burger and how to deliver it...... GO!

Looks like a proper booking system is on it's way (let's hope it's better than their proof reading!)

We've heard you, and our online booking system is on it's way soon
We promise!

We realise the need for a better system for everyone to make reservations with us and are in the processing of putting together an online system.
We want to make sure it's perfect, so please bear with us just a little longer as we test everything and make sure it's running perfectly.
Until it's released, please continue to send us your reservation requests to the email address over on the left, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Please include the date and time you'd like to request, the number of poeple coming and your name and contact number.

Note: Do to high demand, it may take up to ten days to receive a response
