Any recommendations/avoids for a barn or hypermarket for a quick booze stock-up on the way back from France via the ferry? TIA.

It'll be a Friday although I admit I had forgotten about the Sunday closing! Thanks for the other suggestion, will take a look.

There's a decent enough wine shop in Cite Europe, free parking and you can pull your car up to the back door for loading.

I would say mid-range product, some of the big names at reasonable prices (Louis Latour etc) and I did pick up some bargain bin stuff for a couple of Euros each.

Carrefour in Cite Europe. Very large selection including some high end stuff, decent prices, no problem buying large quantities.

Carrefour's also have a great selection of beers!

When we're over there on a wine run, I always treat myself to some EKU28, Kwak Pauwel, and Kasteel Rouge lick

Majestic in Calais.

If you can bear to rub shoulders with the clientele, Eastenders (yes, really) sells good wine as well as dross.
