Pub at the top, can't remember the name but the food was wonderful.

Directions?....leave the valley, all the way to the t junction? keep left and the pub is on your right.

Can't remember anymore...that's how good it was!

Oh, but if you're a pretentious tt (and you may be for asking), avoid Cornwall

Just thought I'd answer my own question above now that I've visited in case anyone uses the search tool to ask the same, The Napoleon Inn (top of the hill as above) and Cobweb Inn do reasonably priced decent pub style fare served up with good real ales, a smile and some chat from the staff and locals. The Riverside Restaurant is a nicer place inside and I got the best steak (locally reared Cornish cattle) I've had ever, anywhere in the world! The farm shop café is worth visiting for amazing views, spot-on bacon butties made with local farm reared pork, and homemade Cornish pasties that are proper delicious man food at it's best!
