Restruants with dim lighting in birmingham/sutton?

Will be staying in sutton coldfield and was just wondering if anybody knew some nice restaurants the specifically have dim lighting.I may just be weird but im mot a fan of eating around other people with big bright lights everywhere i prefer the more romantic/fancy ambiance/setting. Although it does have its downfalls such as not being able to read the menu and such but can anybody recomend anywhere im brum like this?

There's a very nice curry house called Asian grill in Sutton Coldfield. Have been there a few times and would definitely go again.

This is a bit of a "see and be seen place" unless you can get one of the tables at the side. Which you probably wouldn't if there are just two of you.

Adam's on Bennett's Hill is quite romantic.

Depends where you sit. The circular area that you walk round to get to the loos are pretty bright and you end up sitting quite close to others if you are sitting on the round sofas. I have sat in there and didn't particularly enjoy it, quite close to some people who may have once been on Abomination Street or something.

The side cubicles are much quieter. And there are a couple if tables that are a bit more tucked away.

Really like the food there, and the cocktails are awesome (if expensive, even for Brum).

I stay in Birmingham a lot, often on my own, and much as I like Asha's it isn't somewhere I go to eat alone just because it is a bit bright and obvious.
