Byron Burgers

Afternoon all

I'm off to The 02 tonight, tempted to have dinner in the Byron Burger restaurant. What are they like?

I know Five Guys have just opened there as well, but £8 for what is a takeaway burger is bordering on extortion.

I can't speak for Byrons elsewhere but one opened in Leeds a few months back.
It makes a good burger and some interesting drinks, however in Leeds we've got a number of BBQ and burger places that have opened which are better.
REDS does great ribs and burgers.
Meatliquor is the best for burgers and beers

Went to the one in York back in May and it was nice, although I'd probably find it difficult to tell the difference between a Byron and a GBK burger.

I've eaten in the Liverpool brach a few times, and never been disappointed. Always tasty, juicy and with a great array of toppings. Price is ok as well

Really nice burgers cooked to perfection but the onion rings are out of this world. Like crack cocaine only nicer and more addictive.

Been once, it was nice but nothing special and I found the menu quite limited, this was a few years ago mind.

The one I went to wasn't open long, a year tops.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen is better.

5 Guys is good however way too much money I think, for what is effectively a fast food joint.

I agree too.....went to the one on Camden which I thought was nowt special. Decent but not worth a journey of more than the 10 mins it takes me to get there.....

Who cares about fast food or non fast food, it's the taste that counts.

IMO 5 guys > Byron >> GBK

I like byron... its a bit overpriced maybe but ive always had a tasty well cooked burger there.

Tried Hache in Camden last week - now that's a tasty burger.

Big fan of Tommi's in Marylebone, and Patty & Bun in the West End.

Very much spoilt for choice with burgers at the moment - clearly the in thing.

Went to the one in Soho last xmas (used to be lovely pizza place)..... and loved it

you have to accept it's a burger, so it aint fine dining.... but it was yum yum

Agree completely. The best burger London for me.

Apart from the novelty factor, these new American chains just seem to be churning out expensive, greasy, tasteless crap. I can't see the appeal, unless you're a tourist...

I tried the Byron Burger in Leicester and was impressed compared to the other national chains, the food was good and I prefer waiter service to ordering from the counter.

Byron is ok, i've been to the one in the O2 too.

Honest Burgers is a good shout in London, as is Patty & Bun. Can't go wrong with either.

I like Byron, worth signing up for their mailing list too. Often a silly/fat-arse burger on their that isn't on the menu.
