Afternoon All!

Please can you suggest a good 40 year old bottle of scotch please? 40 years because it's my brothers 40th and I've no clue what to get him..

budget is £2-300 unless all that get's is complete cack, then I may have to rethink!

ETA looks like £300 is being a bit optimistic... 4-500 going to get something good?

Cheers

Dave

Don't think you've got a great choice at that price, but for £369 this gets good reviews:

I just got two of these, one for drinking and one for the collection

https://www.singlemaltsdirect.com/glenglassaugh/gl...

The chap whose name is on the bottle owns the inde bottling company and was the distillery manager from 08-13, safe to say he had a pretty good idea of the available stock... I've not opened my drinking bottle yet but got a little sample of it prior to buying and it's astonishing for the money. The OB 40yo is £2500!
