PH Cooking Comp: Christmas Special!

Ok it's that time of year again when people tend to get creative in the kitchen. With that in mind and with a bit of guidance from Pixel-Snapper we will be having a special one from Christmas 2014!
Your choice of dish:
1. Christmas Cake - Do you like yours without marzipan? Or maybe chocolate is more for you? There is no one size fits all when it comes to cake, show us how you think it should be done!
2. Christmas Pud(ding) - Brown dome shaped things right? Wrong! Do you have a family special secret recipe for the perfect mince pie? Are currants just for girls? Prove it!
3. Christmas Nom! - One of those weirdos without a sweet tooth? Or maybe you are as good at cakes and puds as you are rocket science (note; this excludes actual rocket scientists!) Show us your savory dish, nothing sweet here!
There will be voting and thus a winner for each category and voting for an overall winner, you can enter all three categories or just the one, it is up to you! You can only submit one dish for the overall comp.
THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT ARE AS FOLLOWS*
1, No more than 3 photos to be entered unless stated by the theme setter.
2, Food must be prepare by yourself as much as possible IE not putting a goat curry in the microwave.
3, The competition will run from Monday 1st December to Wednesday 31st December.
4, Voting will commence Monday 5th January for 1 week.
