Pistachios - lemon/lime

I am guessing they have somesort of liquid that the dunk the pistachios in - not sure if they cook them. The pistachios kind of come glazed with the flavour.
How could I do this at home - bog standard lime or lemon flavour would do.
I could buy some normal pistashios (non salted) - get some lemon or liem juice and soak them in. Would it be better to cook them slightly you reckon?
