My Codlo has arrived (and is very cool, full thread to follow) but I don't have a vacuum sealer. I'm planning on using the water displacement method.

I'm having trouble finding suitable non-PVC bags who can take the heat of cooking. Does anyone have a good lead on them? Also does this method give a good cooking environment? Any other tips for a first timer water cooker?

Suspect these would be okay as they are suitable for microwave use.

I would double bag anything myself just to be sure.

We got some zip bags with our SousVide http://www.sousvidesupreme.com/Zip-Cooking-Pouches...

We mostly use a vacuum sealer and the Andrew James roll.
