I need to make quite a few batches of roast potatoes over the next few days and I really dont want to start each batch from scratch. Would i be best off -

Parboiling all of the potatoes in one go and then roasting as required

or

Roast them all in one go and reheat as required

Which would give the best results or are there any other methods to try? If I parboil the whole quantity how is it best to store them before roasting?

Thanks

I would think parboil them all at once then roast as needed , stick em in the fridge until needed

I would as well. When I've part roasted and then finished them another time they were not very nice.

You don't need to parboil spuds. Just peel and put in a pan with oil.

So, 'best results' meaning you don't NEED to, which is what I said? Well done, are you having your nap now?

OP doesn't say he wants to, he also was open to other methods.

Peel and keep in water in the fridge.

I don't always par boil, better done, but not disastrous without it.
Perhaps not up to the Michelin standards of this forum, but certainly pleasant and edible.

No, he doesn't, I can't read where he that. He offers it as a suggestion.

I have been clear in my answers and you've failed to read them, I said you don't NEED to parboil, and you disregarded what I put and decided to come up with a ste answer, twice.

I can tell you for certain, you do not NEED to parboil potatoes before roasting them.

But, you'll probably be a bellend, read what you want of what I've said and argue the point.
