this annoys the heck out of me [Vegetarian warning]
Discussion
Regardless of what it may taste like, the fact it doesn't contain various parts of animal means ITS NOT A GOD DAMN HAGGIS!!!
If you choose to be a vegetarian, fine. Just don't go trying to mimic the delicious tasty meat items others like to enjoy. You don't see a carnivores versions of vegetables do you????!!!!!

oddly I had a vegetarian pizza at pizza hut 3 weeks ago which actually contained quite a bit of minced beef, which was odd..... I say oddly as I hate the fecking place, bad food and not very clean either - unfortunately the kids love it because of the icecream bar, so if they choose thats it.
Luickily I am not a true vegetarian at all anymore, but I can immagine an uproar if a whiney full on panty liner veggie had got that pizza..

I am not vegetarian but I like trying to do different stuff with vegetables and make a few meals a week non meat simply because it is better for you and cheaper. Hugh FW did a veg cookbook (not a vegetarian cookbook btw!) and I have done loads of stuff from it because it was nice. It has also inspired me to come up with my own stuff too but I have never wanted to use any of this crap. Any of these so called meat substitutes seem to be a kind of 'in denial' type thing and used by folks with no imagination in their cooking.
There are very few 'vegetable cookbooks', but millions of 'vegetarian cookbooks', which annoys me somewhat.
I may have to write one...

nope definately didnt, it was definately one of their "vegetarian pizzas" but someone had obviously split the beef when making the other pizza. Then we can have a picture of you looking disgusted pointing at the pizza and find out how much your house is worth
