Unsurprisingly there's a petition! (No, I didn't start it!)
https://www.change.org/p/kraft-change-back-the-she...
2650 supporters.

Could this not be a deliberate attempt by the manufacturers to stir up interest in a product for marketing reasons???
Like - Heinz threatened to stop making Salad Cream a few years ago I remember. There was uproar, petitions, letters, protests etc. etc.
And they 'caved in' and said 'ok, sorry, we'll keep making it...'
Meanwhile, sales soared. Clearly, there was no real threat to stop making it - this was just a clever (and rather cynical) marketing campaign.
I smell a similar kind of rat here....

Does remind me of how some big businesses treated companies in the 90s. Thinks like "due to customer demand, we've made the change..." When it was nonsense. Remember firkin pubs? Almost overnight they stopped selling their unique beers and sold tetleys "due to customer demand" . Their customers left and the brand closed within a few years...
It feels like the parent company are treating us the same way. Soon they will be selling us hershey bars "due to custmer demand". A real shame as its a much loved brand.
