What to cook for lunch?
Discussion
Where I work is in the middle of nowhere, too far to go out for lunch. There is a local shop for sandwiches and the odd microwave meal, but its not great, and also not cheap. Aside from the things I can already do - cottage pie, lasagna, beef stew - what else can I make on a weekend which will last a few days?
Tag. I want inspiration too.
Places around my work place suck. There's only fried chicken, sandwiches and kebabs. My office is small, so while I love curry, and while the office is very culturally diverse, I don't want to make curry. Only thing we have in the office is a microwave. Would be good if I could make a meal that is
1. high in protein
2. i can easily measure calories.
3-Something I can throw in my backpack that won't get ruined when I cycle.
4- Cheaper then £2 for a 2pieces of fried chicken + chips.
