Dear all, I am taking my vegetarian wifey and her mother for a birthday lunch. Can anyone recommend a good sea-side seafood restaurant within an hour or so of the tunnel. As I mentioned, both would turn their noses up at the entrecote steak but both eat fish. Any (not too expensive) suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers, Lee.

Not too sure about the veggie element but the fish and seafood are spectacular. Set menu recommended.

'Aux Pecheurs d'Etaples' in, erm, Etaples would be my recommendation.

Bang on your 1 hour is Amarine in Arras. Been there twice with a big group from TIPEC, specialize in seafood of all sorts, biggish place but individual attention. Just off the Place d'Heroes. Beautiful place to look around as well.

This was going to be exactly my suggestion. Lovely place, and very good food.
