Why do 4-finger Kit-Kats taste better than 2-finger ones?

Even eating 2x 2-Finger ones at a time, I would still prefer a 4-finger one.

Any idea why this is the case?

Anyone else agree?

Is it like toast made by someone else being totally superior to your own effort?

Not sure of the answer but I've only just finished one myself. A great chocolate bar.

Indeed. You see it's all part of that ploughing the field mentality. Every man likes to plough a furrow with his tongue. So if one furrow tastes great, three simultaneously tastes, well, at least three times as good.

2 finger Kit Kats are a children's confectionary, to be scoffed without total satisfaction no matter how many are eaten, give a child a 9 pack of Kit Kats and every one will be consumed greedily. The 4 finger variety is to be enjoyed and savoured by an adult who has the ability to purchase as much chocolate as he would wish. Having selected 4 fingers to be ample for his satisfaction only the task of enjoying the purchase remains. This mentality remains a part of the human brain for life. Wewre someone to fuse two 2-finger KitKats together without your knowledge and pass them off as a 4-finger, true happiness could be achieved despite the inferior beginnings.

Probably.

Omce you have experienced the adult taste of a plain-chocolate Kit-Kat those sugary, light-brown ones (of any size) are just 'meh'

HTH.

Kit Kats should have each end nibbled off and then be used as a straw to drik coffee with, the resultant melty middle is an absolute delight

I think the 2 finger derivative is merely a packed lunch filler, whereas a 4 finger bar is a chocolate bar that rightly stands alongside the Lion, Mars, Ripple, Caramac and other sweet shop favourites.

In some chocolaty sugary infused moment of delirium, did I imaging the existence of a six fingered kitkat?

The chunky kit kat has made the four finger effort frankly irrelevant.

I'd love to see a 4 finger chunky.

why can't they do a chunky single finger with 4 small fingers? Call it a "Hand of God"?

No, No and just No.

I love the 4 finger bars but the chunky ones remain uneaten in my cupboard; I end up giving them away; far too much wafer!

The four finger ones were more enjoyable when they had the foil. There was something rewarding in slitting the foil with your finger nail before devouring the Kit Kat.

That is plain wrong!

Nobody can make toast just how I like it.

They mess is up with not enough butter, not spread evenly enough and then the same with the marmite or peanuts butter.

I hate it when they can't spread to the edges.

I tried mint Kit-Kat once. It was very nice. I have no idea if they still make it, or whether it was just an experimental run.
