Indian cookery courses?
Discussion
I'm trying to find out about any Indian cookery courses that the pistonheads foodies might have been on, or know about, that are worth doing
It's a present for swmbo, although she's a very accomplished cook, my waistline can vouch for that, I always struggle to get her something different as a present, and the other night, whilst watching an Indian cookery channel on sky I asked her if it would be something that she'd find interesting, you can guess the answer.
So the hunt begins, any input gratefully received.

Ashburton Cookery School in Devon, fantastic place. One of the best in the country and onsite accommodation too!

Not a course as such, but these guys - http://www.thespicery.com/ - post recipe kits with instructions and all the spices needed. My sister was given a 6 month subscription as a present and got a different kit every month. The recipes worked well.
I have been on several courses, including an Indian course at seasoned cookery course, North of Birmingham - very good indeed, cannot recommend highly enough - www.seasonedcourses.com
There are two round me (near Solihull). Becketts Farm run cooking courses, one of which is Indian based. I've not done it but did do the beer and butchery course they run (Purity come in and run a tasting session after you've done your course) and it was great, would maybe suit a couple of people doing it together as the hobs were a bit tight on space, not that I found it an issue on mine.
The other is a woman who runs it from home, she'll come to you and teach you and whoever else in your own home as well. Would depend if you were local to Solihull if that would work for you though!
