Hi all,

My folks have had to look after a distant relatives estate and they've found a stash of vintage champagne and whiskey. Anyone any idea as to whether they are worth anything at all?

If so any idea where to sell them??

Cheers in advance.

Some auction houses will sell booze. I have a chum at Sotheby's that does wine auctions.

Give them a call on Monday...

Ha! I'd forgotten I'd posted that! That'll be the last time I was back home st the parents, and probably got asked the question then too!

They've still got them stashed away!

Should probably point out that I'm not outside your house, monitoring your internets ... Google 'champagne de st marceaux 1941' and the old thread is the first returned smile

I don't have a rabbit, so you can't boil it!

Champagne if stored well could still be drinkable, crack it open.

Guys, I've got an old bottle of champagne (although the not as old as 1941!!) it's a 1985 lanson brut red label. Is it worth anything ? Worth drinking ?
